Our brief was to design and produce a colour concept piece of an imagined creature with minimum of four tentacles.

I used several reference images to draw the figure and then blocked in tones in black and white. I added colour and then used a few multiply layers to add in the shadows. I am happy with how this piece turned out but am still not comfortable
with painting in photoshop. I need to learn how to nicely blend
colour into an image to create the right tones whilst avoiding hard
edges where there shouldn't be.
